Австралийское общество Красного Креста (крупнейшая добровольная медицинская организация; возникла как отделение Британского общества Красного Креста в 1914; входит в Международное общество Красного Креста с 1919; действует как самостоятельная организация с 1927. Активно содействует медицинскому обслуживанию австралийских вооружённых сил; созданная ею служба переливания крови охватывает все штаты и территории страны. Штаб-квартира в Мельбурне. Возглавляется Национальным советом, ежегодно назначающим Финансовый комитет, и Исполнительным советом)
